Injection molding is a widely adopted method to produce identical plastic products in mass volume. Once the initial step has finished, the price per unit during injection process is extraordinarily low. If more than one part is produced, the cost will be even lower.
As the name “Injection Molding” implies, a mold whose shape is designed totally based on needs. Then raw material, mostly plastic, will be melted and then injected.
Steps to start Injection Molding.
Step 1: Make a prototype.
By making a prototype, you can have a vivid picture of the product and check if it is what you really want, including shape, function, etc.
There are several ways to do a prototype.
- CNC machining.
- 3D printing
- Injection molding
There are merits and drawbacks for each of the options. We will propose the best possible way based on your needs and requirements.
Step 2: Make a pilot run.
This means you already confirmed the design of the prototype. For pilot run, you need to decide the volume of the order. Unit price will differ based on the volume, so make sure to work out the most appropriate calculation.
Step 3: Mass production.
The product has received good feedback from your customers and you need massive quantities. In this case, the unit cost will be dramatically brought down. And lead time is often longer, of course.
We could offer you plastic Injection molding custom services, Injection mould design, Injection Mould Making with low cost no matter a few hundred small quantity or millions of parts, you may need small quantity order at first, especially, for your initial orders to open your market. This will help you to increase your profits without having spent a lot of money to order a big volume of injection molded parts at the beginning.
Secondary molding service is avaiable. We can do secondary molding according to customers’ requirement, including surface treatment such as printing, painting and plating, etc.
With years’ of experience in the injection molding industry and 2 QC technicians per shift, we are able to complete your project with confidence. To ensure every detail is just right, we send the first batch of samples to the customer for inspection. QC tests the samples through CMM, projector, 2DMI, altimeter, block gauge, needle gauge, L-square, caliper, micrometer, hardness and other testing equipment. All the work we do is only for high quality custom injection molding.
